2011 Swain County Health Department Community Survey

The Swain County Health Department provides many services to residents of Swain County and surrounding areas. The Health Department has a full- time staff consisting of the Health Director, Public Health Nurses, Environmental Health Specialists, Nutritionist, Health Educator, Social Worker, Management Support Staff and Family Nurse Practitioner.

Swain County Health Department's Flu Kick-Off will be September 30th beginning at 8:00 am. Cost of the vaccine will be $30 if you do not have Regular Medicare Part B - For more information, call 488-3198 x 0.

Swain County Health Department STD Services are ONLY offered on Thursday, 8:15a - 4:00p.
STD services are offered at Jackson County Health Department Monday-Tuesday-Thursday- Friday.
