Swimming Pool to open Memorial Day Weekend 2023:
Swain County has openings for lifeguards. This is temporary summer work. Must be 18 or older, flexible with hours and able to work week-ends. Will also have to complete lifeguard certification class. This class will be offered in May at the Recreation Department. Applications can be picked up and returned to the Swain County Administration Building or the Recreation Department.
